- Hmm, let's see if I can remember them all....
- First, it was Mosaic Netscape 0.9 on SunOS, which actually worked pretty
- well, and was rather nice with UNIX memory protection. Then, Netscape 1.0
- under Windows. It did nasty things, like general protection faults, locking
- up, corrupting the desktop, and more. Same for Netscape 1.1. The Linux
- version of 1.1 would seg fault quite a bit.
- And Netscape on the Mac. Ugh. There's a reason for the program called
- "Netscape Defroster," as it has a particularly nasty tendency to lock up. You
- should see some of the numbers it gives while running on ShapeShifter.
- Absolutely ridiculous file sizes, transfer speeds, and completion times.
- That's every version up to 2.0b4, at which point IBrowse started working well.
